BAZALWANE abathandekayo, esifundweni sokuqala esithathwe encwadini kaBen Sira umbhali, siyakhuthazwa ukubhekisisa kabanzi indaba yolaka, ukuthukuthela nezingxabano.
Kuyacaca ukuthi empilweni nje yonke ubudlelwano kumele bakhiwe, bulungiswe futhi buhlale njalo busekelwa. Lo mbhali ongu-Ben Sira usichazela ngokuthi ulaka nokuthukuthela kuyenyanyeka, ngamanye amazwi akuyona into esingabambelela kuyo.
Akusho ukuthi ukuthukuthela, ukudinwa, nolaka kufanele kube isigcino sezinto. Thina simelwe ukwedlula ekudinweni, sedlule ekubambeleleni ezehlweni ezimbi ezisehlele. Akasho umbhali ukuthi asizenzise, senze sengathi akwenzekanga lutho empilweni. Uma kukhona okuhlukumeze umntwana kaNkulunkulu, kumele ngenxa yokuqonda izimo zempilo ikholwa lifune izindlela zokudingida ngomoya womntwana kaNkulunkulu okulehlele, ikholwa alingabuswa umoya wokugqumelana nezinto ezilimaza umoya walo. Malifunde ikholwa ukudlulisa uma into seyixoxiwe.
Iqiniso lithi izibazi neminjunju yokuhlukumezeka iyohlala ikhona njalo, kodwa impilo ayikho ekuhlaleni kulezi zimo. Impilo isekusukumeni samukele osekwenzekile, sivuke sizithathe. Asingazivimbeli umbuso kaNkulunkulu ngokuhlala ezintweni esenziwe zona, esihlukunyezwe ngazo. Uze uthi umbhali wesifundo sokuqala: “Uma umuntu ebambela omunye amagqubu, angalucela kanjani uxolo eNkosini na? Yena akanasihawu kumfowabo, kanti yena ubheke ukuxolelwa izono zakhe? Umuntu othi engelutho nje nokho angaluyeki ulaka, pho angahlawula kanjani izono zakhe na?” Masifundeni ukudlulisa izinto ezisilimazayo empilweni, samukele umusa kaNkulunkulu.
UPaulus, umphostoli, ebhalela ibandla laseRoma esifundweni sesibili, uthi: “Bazalwane, kithi kakho oziphilelayo, akakho ozifelayo. Noma siphila, siphilela iNkosi; noma sifa sifela iNkosi. Ngakho-ke noma siphila noma sifa singabeNkosi. UKristo phela wafa, wavuka ukuba abe iNkosi yabafileyo nabaphilayo (Roma 14: 7-9). Akekho ongamdingi omunye phakathi kithina bakaKristo, siyasidinga isitha, ukuze sihlale sisendleleni, sijeqeza, sizijeqeza nathi, siyabadinga abenza kahle abazamayo ukuphila impilo enhle, ukukhombisa labo bethu abangenzi kahle indlela yokuma eqinisweni likaNkulunkulu, kodwa njengamakholwa asikwazi ukwahlulela abanye abantu ngobubi babo, sinobethiu nathi.
EVangelini lanamhlanje uJesu uphendula uPetrus ekade ethe kuye emasontweni amabili adlulile (ngesonto lamashumi amabili nambili): “Suka-bo, udede kimi sathane, uyisikhubekiso kimi, ngoba awuqondi okukaNkulunkulu uqonda okwabantu (Mathew 16: 23). Namhlanje uyambuza uthi: “Nkosi kuyoze kube kangaki ngimthethelela umfowethu engona na? Kuyoze kube kasikhombisa na?” UJesu wathi kuye: “Angisho kuwe ukuthi kuze kube kasikhombisa, kanti kuze kube kamashumi ayisikhombisa ephindwe kasikhombisa” (Mathewu 18: 21). Ngamanye amazwi uJesu uthi indaba yokuthethelelana ayipheli, kumele kuthethelelwane njalo. Akumele umntwana kaNkulunkulu abambelele ezehlweni nezimo zokungezwani nomunye zize zimhlahlekisele ngokholo. Akahlale elangazelela ukudlulisa, azifundise ukuxola, ukuze impilo yekholwa ikhombise umehluko, ngoba khona la phakathi kwabantwana bakaNkulunkulu kukhona ubuxoki, amanga, umona, ubuqili, ulaka, inkohliso, inzondo, ukufiselana okubi, ukubukelana phansi, ukuzenzisa nazo zonke izinto eziphambene noNkulunkulu. Phela sisemhlabeni wabantu ababunjwe ngobumba, asikho emhlabeni wezingelosi.
Kufanele sihlale silangazelela ukubambana ngezandla sibange embusweni kaNkulunkulu, ngokuxolelana, ngokwamukelana, ngokudlula kokudala, simfunze esimkhonzayo, othe esezinhlungwini esiphambanweni, wasithethelela. Amen.
